Lough Named 2008-09 Heartland Conference Athletic Trainer of the Year
The Heartland Conference is proud to announce that B.J. Lough, from the University of the Incarnate Word has been named the 2008-09 Athletic Trainer of the Year for the conference. B.J. was nominated and voted on by his fellow Athletic Trainers in the conference.

Lawrence Named Heartland Conference SID of the Year
The Heartland Conference is proud to announce that Logan Lawrence, from St. Edward’s University has been named the 2008-09 Sports Information Director of the Year for the conference. Lawrence was nominated and voted on by his fellow SID's in the conference.

St. Edward's Yeatts Named Heartland Conference Woman of the Year
Kelsey Yeatts of St. Edward’s University has been selected as the 2009 Heartland Conference Woman of the Year by the league’s Senior Woman Administrators. The honor recognizes an outstanding female student-athlete who has distinguished herself throughout her collegiate career in the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership. Yeatts will now be the Heartland Conference’s nominee for the NCAA national award.
