Ferreira went 3-0 in singles play at the Washburn Quad last weekend in Topeka , Kan. The Jets’ No. 1 singles player opened her weekend with a 6-1, 6-2 straight-set win over Northwest Missouri State’s Erika Leston, and continued with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Emporia State’s Talena Lorren. Ferreira concluded her weekend outing with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Washburn’s Trang Le Nguyen. Ferreira also picked up a doubles win last weekend, teaming with Emily Gerber to pick up an 8-2 win over the Northwest Missouri State Tandem of Erika Leston and Emily Hoffman.
