UTPB Cross Country Men and Women Finish Sixth

The UTPB cross country teams traveled to San Marcos on Saturday to participate in the Texas State Invitational cross country meet.  Both teams finished sixth in the eight-team event.

On the women’s side, Ariel Renteria paced the Lady Falcons in the 3-mile run by finishing 14th overall individually with a time of 19:46.  Ariel was the only top 15 finisher for the Lady Falcons.

Head cross country coach Josh Caudill continues to see improvement in the Lady Falcons. “All of the individual goals were met this morning as far as the ladies personal records,” he stated. “Senior Jessica Alvarez was the highlight of the group as she improved her personal best by over three minutes.”
