Hitter of the Week
Gable Whitacre, St. Edward’s
Catcher, Sr., Austin, Texas
Gable Whitacre's bat carried St. Edward's to a dominant 4-1 week. The senior's third home run of the week may have been his biggest as the three-run shot put the Hilltoppers ahead of Missouri S&T in the series finale, and extended his hitting streak to 14 games. After his monster week, Whitacre leads the league in RBI with 24 and is tied for the lead in home runs. He is also second in total hits and triples. This is Whitacre’s first hitter of the week honor this season.

Pitcher of the Week
Holden Grounds, St. Mary’s
RHP, Sr., Corsicana, Texas
Holden Grounds threw a gem against the University of Houston-Victoria, throwing a 10-strikeout, complete-game shutout. He allowed just two hits in the game and walked one. It was the Rattler newcomer's first victory of the season wearing the gold and blue. This is Grounds first weekly honor this season.
